NO EXCUSES
The old and familiar saying, “If at first you don’t succeed, try and try again…” Never exactly says to what extent the “trying again” will cease because there is no exact formula that leads you to the answer.
Napoleon Hill once said, “Thomas Edison dreamed of a lamp that could be operated by electricity, began where he stood to put his dream into action, and despite more than ten thousand failures, he stood by that dream until he made it a physical reality. Practical dreamers do not quit. ”
Often times we get inspired by those that have become contaminated with “passion-itis” but never see the journey to where they arrived. We weren’t there to witness the struggles, the obstacles, the failures, the tears, and the direct stare at defeat in the eyes as they push another time. We think they instantaneously reached the finish line.
Most of the time, the miracle arises as they push past that look of defeat in the eyes, when they have nothing else left, but somehow they try one last time. That “one last time” is plugged into some inconceivable energy source, as a conduit that feeds the heart and soul to take the lead and starves the mind of dictating that final time.
Lots of practice and patience, extreme levels of determination and discipline, a high concentration of will within their blood to make it back on their feet every-time they fall, are examples of characteristics that have led these ordinary human beings to that of the extraordinary realm. What runs inside of them, runs inside of you. It’s all in the matter of trying again, with limitless attempts. So go ahead and let failure know you aren’t scared, no matter how many times it bullies you! Get out there and simply BEGIN!
