1. Choose something you actually like doing
Who says there is only one way to get in shape? There are so many different exercises, equipment, and even classes to choose from that make your workout uniquely yours! At Mei Fitness we encourage individuality and provide you with the tools you need to be successful.
Our gym provides a facility for all fitness levels (cyclers, cross fit, Olympic lifting, bodybuilding, yoga etc.). We encourage you to try everything! Try our free fitness orientation where a trainer will take you through the gym and show you how to use all of the equipment so you feel comfortable in your home gym.
2. Be consistent
I’m sure you’ve heard it before, but it still holds true: consistency is key. Plus let’s be honest – we love seeing our members! Our personal trainers, fitness instructors and staff are here to answer your questions and keep you accountable. Our facilities are open 24 hrs. so you can complete your work out in a time that works best for you.
3. Get enough rest and eat healthy!
Pretty straight forward (and easier said than done) but getting enough rest at night and simply eating breakfast will make a world of difference. It’s okay to start out small! Make small adjustments to your lifestyle and be consistent, then you will realize that all of those little things add up in the long run! Eating breakfast will boost your metabolism, and sleeping enough will keep your brain alert and ready to go.
